About Digital Alarms
Theft and criminal damage is a
daily problem and expense to homeowners and business. Electronic
intruder detection systems can provide cost-effective protection
and act as a deterrent to intruders while alerting homeowners,
staff and the Gardai. All our systems also allow the customer to
have their premises monitored 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week. There
are several options available albeit from a basic text message to
inform you your alarm have gone off up to a more advanced system
where the Gardai are called automatically to your premises.
We are specialists in the design and installation of all types
of Intruder Alarm Systems, from the small residential systems to
the larger commercial and industrial systems.
Domestic Systems:
We stock the latest
technology in home alarms both hardwired and wireless systems,
These systems have advanced Infra red detectors and they
substantially increase immunity to false alarms. We also stock a
large range of door, window and shutter contacts, and alternative
detectors including vibration, sound and break-glass sensors for
a system that will provide complete protection for your home.
We also install with every system if required a personal attack
button, which generates either a silent alarm, i.e. text
notification or outdoor alarm alerting your neighbours of a
possible problem.
Other Security Options:
Automated Light Control:
Automated light control systems automatically switch lights on
when someone approaches your premises. An ideal option for any
premises to enable you to arrive at your premises in safety and
also create an excellent deterrent to the would be thief.
Servicing & Maintenance :
We employ a dedicated, highly qualified team of installation and
service engineers who provide an excellent after sales service.
Fire Alarm Systems:
All fire systems
are fully compliant with European Standards.
We supply and install a vast selection of fire alarm systems
from leading manufacturers. From simple conventional devices to
advanced analogue addressable systems.
In a fire alarm system all the detection devices link back to
a main control panel. We also install more advanced systems,
which consist of addressable systems in which each sensor has its
own electronic address.
The advantages of addressable systems over standard systems
are that there is less down time troubleshooting and also the
system allows for phased evacuation of large buildings.
Detector Types:
Detectors can ether be used to detect smoke, heat or both. When
there is a change in air particles (smoke) or heat in the local
environment the detector will be triggered which then sends a
signal to the panel indicating a fire.
Warning Devices:
Sounders and Beacons
provide indication that there is a fire. In the majority of cases
external bells are used. However certain circumstances may
necessitate the use of visual indicators where persons with
impaired hearing may be present such as a disabled toilet.
CCTV
CCTV systems are essential to
a modern business in today's environment. They are used in
applications from advanced home security, retail loss prevention,
health and safety compliance and process monitoring.
Todays systems all use Digital Video Recorders (DVRs) to
record and replay images. DVR's have a significant advantage over
discontinued VCR tape systems. They continuously record to hard
disk, rather than having to change tapes every 12 or 24 hours.
They also make event replay significantly simpler to find and
replay.
Three new technologies are creating the next leap forward in
CCTV technology. These are IP cameras, wireless networks and
advanced DVR software capabilities, e.g. Number plate
recognition). High Resolution cameras allow images to be stored
and analysed in multiple times more resolution than traditional
analogue cameras.
Advanced Software now allows the end user to determine
personnel and vehicle behaviours from CCTV images and to cause
alarms and events onscreen to alert monitoring staff. Analysed
behaviours include loitering, abandoned object, removed object,
perimeter penetration, graffiti, as well as queue length,
congestion and people counting alarms.
Systems with integrated CCTV
can be developed to deal with particular problems. For instance,
an Access Control system to provide confirmation against a stored
image that the card owner and not an intruder are using a swipe
card. Similarly, an alarm from an intruder Alarm can cause
the CCTV system to record the event and identify the person who
caused the alarm, to provide valuable evidence if required.
Our expertise across all types of electronic security means
that we can integrate these systems with other security measures.
Our systems can also be accessed remotely over the Internet
allowing supervisors to monitor staff even when not in the
office.
